Gene entered the financial services industry at the age of 24 and has since grown into a people-centric leader focused on building high-performing teams and sustainable careers. A defining early experience—helping a client through a critical illness claim—shaped his purpose and reinforced his belief in responsible advice and principled leadership.
In 2020, Gene stepped into a leadership role as an Agency Development Manager. His ability to develop talent and drive consistent standards led to his promotion to Wealth Solution Manager in 2024, where he currently leads a team of MDRT-qualified advisors, fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and long-term performance.
His leadership impact was recognised with the HSBC Life Top Rookie Manager Award 2026, reflecting his strength in people development and team building within a competitive environment.
Beyond management, Gene serves as the Marketing Pillar Head for The Financial Assembly, leading strategic branding and recruitment initiatives to attract and develop the right talent.
